Bear ponders
Bear ponders out loud, “There is no doubt in my mind that regardless of how fixed one is in ones own life practices it still helps to examine them. If you sort them out, list and organize what beliefs and actions stem from your ideals you can act with greater certainty, to make sure nothing is accidentally misrepresented, especially at a moment of fatigue or frustration.”
Raven, sitting on a branch near bear, nods and scratches under her wing, distractedly.
“If you agree with me on this premise which of the behaviors would you use to assist you in moments of emotional disturbance and which ones would you most likely avoid?” queried, Bear.
Raven, pauses her preening of a long black wing feather, looks toward Bear, blinks, and returns to her grooming.
Bear, feeling encouraged, goes on, “Are the ones you are likely to fall back on always the best? Do you think the ones you would tend to pass up, might be worth considering, and may work better to facilitate a specific moment in time?”
Raven runs her beak down a tail feather.
“I would love to know your thoughts on my questions, Raven?”
Raven smoothes a plume.
“Which voice do you choose to listen to most often?”
Raven, picking absently at a long dark claw, replies absently, as if to her reflection in its shiny crescent shaped mirror, “The devil on my shoulder.”
